What impact will your event have on the local community? This is something you need to anticipate, identify the risks and take measures to control.

 
Activity three

Co-author an insurance fact sheet

All events need insurances including mandatory and specific insurances depending on the event activities. Develop your understanding of different types of insurance and why you need them for events, and produce a ‘fact sheet’ for future reference.

Co-plan waste management

Events can generate a considerable amount of waste. Find out how to develop a waste management plan for your event. This is likely to be essential to comply with council regulations for events.
