The event concept should inspire you to think about the potential of a venue or site to enhance the concept. Research the concept of a boat show and analyse potential venues/sites. Everyone in the group presents their analysis of a proposed venue/site, assesses each idea, then the whole group votes on the best venue/site for this event. |

Peer review of site selection tools An essential tool for event organisers is a checklist to help you analyse a venue or site for its suitability. In this activity everyone in the group will share their individual checklists and then review each other’s checklists. This feedback will help everyone to refine and improve their own checklists. |
